Hello Friends, I've got some great posts for today — including another excellent one from Amy M, our guest mom — but I've got to run to Ikea this morning. It's been almost a year since I've made an Ikea trip and I am very much looking forward to it.

what are you getting at ikea?
I am sooooo excited that we are getting an Ikea in my area!! It opens at the end of this month and I can't wait to spend about 6 hours there!!
Oh so jealous of that. Not for long though, IKEA is opening up only a few miles away from me...hooray!!!
Love Ikea trips... so fun! Even my kids look forward to them, can't beat that! Have fun and don't forget to show us the great things you find!
Yes, IKEA opens at 10, but you can get breakfast for $1.50 at 9am!!! Happy shopping!! Can't wait to see what you get...do do tell.

amy m -- we're getting an ikea here too! before now, the closest one was 3.5 hours away. we're so excited -- it can't happen soon enough for me.
although it seems like an ikea should only take, like, an afternoon to build, shouldn't it? simple danish instructions and whatnot?
