Ceramic Eggs

These glazed ceramic eggs make me smile. The colors. The clean color vs. white contrast. The patterns.

A great alternative if you're not up to making your own. Or a great gift for a grandmother who is no longer interested in getting her hands dirty with dye and glue.

Yes! The colors and the patterns are so pretty.

(I would love to make some, but I can never quite get past the blowing out the gunk part.)

Confession: I'm dreading the dyeing of eggs this year. I usually love it, but what I wouldn't give to trade it in for these little pretties!

Beautiful!! I love these and love that they last year after year. They remind me of the Ukranian Eggs that they treat with wax before dying to leave white spots, etc... but that is too much work for me.....

My mom used to have us use crayons to do that wax relief thingy. I seem to remember coloring thickly, then dying in a cup of food coloring/alcohol, then wiping off the crayon. There are probably fancier ways, but it seemed to work.
