Just bought a new copy a couple of months ago. Love the Ahlbergs. Another one of our favorites by them is THE BABY’S CATALOGUE. Sadly this is out of print, so try the library, which is where we discovered it.

When I was a kid I had a teacher who introduced it to our class and we made up our own versions for a project. So fun. I think I need to check out Each Peach, Pear, Plum too now!

One of our family favorites is “Each Peach, Pear Plumb”(same authors). It never seems to get old–we’ve read it so many times that I think my 3-year old can repeat the text from memory. My kids especially love finding the various storybook characters hidden in each illustration. I can’t wait to check out this new book! It’s sure to be as well loved and witty as the Ahlberg book we already know.

Its a fabulous rhyming book where you have to find the different characters.
Little ones love it!
